The Violinist
This morning was Hunter’s first violin concert. He did an awesome job. I just wish I had brought the video camera! They played through Jingle Bells, Twinkle Twinkle, Two Step March, and Ode to Joy. Rob and I loved watching him play and were so proud! He hates to practice of course, but I’m hoping that after his performance today he’ll be glad I make him do it.
Before – Tuning Up
During the encore of Two Step March
Afterwards – Great job Hunter!
Way to go Hunter! The violin is a remarkable instrument, and I strongly admire those who can play it well, because it shows they have determination and skill, and have worked hard to master their talent. Whenever a student in my seminary class played the violin, I could see in the faces of other students how much they admired them for their ability. One of my uncles took lessons when he was a boy, and played it very well. Two of his children learned to play, and then they made sure their children took lessons, and now their family is like an orchestra – everyone plays an instrument. Stick with it and the results will make you proud, and be a blessing to those who hear you perform.
This was totally awesome! Please keep going Hunter.
When you are an adult you will be so thankful that you did.
Hunter, awesome job! We’re so proud of you! It’s no easy task is it, all of that practicing, but I know you are more than equal to it! I make Ciel practice every day too, and sometimes, she would rather be doing something else.
Hunter, Great job. I would love to hear you play. It is a GREAT talent learning to play an instrument. I really wish that I could play ONE. Keep up the Good work.
i’m so happy you play to! we should play together! 🙂
