My friend Kim sent me a link to this cute website Elliott’s Preemie Tees.  They also have adorable Halloween costumes.  I think it would be so comforting as a parent to have these tiny clothes if my baby were in the NICU. I have heard of people getting doll clothes for their preemies.  These seem so much nicer because they allow for tubes and monitors too.

So cute! Actually there are a lot of local groups that sew/crochet/knit preemie and pre-term clothing and items for hospitals. mothers and babies for free/as gifts. I belong to the Brigham chapter, and there are tons of groups all over. I got involved after talking to Korb about her experience, and realized what an incredible help and comfort it was for the moms and parents of babies that are preemie, or if they lose the baby. Such a hard time for them.

I had a really hard time trying to find clothing for Adler and he wasn’t as small as some come. I think it is great that more clothing is available. I brought a few of my kids home from the hospital in preemie outfits.

I also had a couple of preemie things for Kate, but she QUICKLY grew out of that size and is not a chubby little thing!

    Hi Amy,

I was checking on my google analytics and noticed that some of my visits are coming from your blog! Can I just tell you that I love your blog! I added it to my bookmarks. I noticed that you are in California and have been near all those fires. I am so sorry. It was so nice of Elder Cook to come and visit with you! I love that quote he gave you. I went to Education Week this year at BYU. Brent Top taught a class on adversity and he shared that quote with us. I had never heard it before but I love it!! Our family has been praying for the families affected by the fires. It is nice to put a face on one of the families. Thank you for recommending my website so I could find you!

    Debbie

Thanks Debbie for visiting my blog. It’s great to “meet” the woman behind the clever business. It’s such a great idea. When I know anyone needing your products, I’ll come to you!
